Jennifer is a NYS certified and tenured teacher with a Master's Degree in TESOL:
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Jennifer teaches from a wide-range of methodology, including her extensive experience and training with the Columbia University's Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshop.
Jennifer has her Bachelor's Degree in Print Journalism, and spent 10+ years as a writer. She is currently in her 12th year of teaching.
Jennifer is a certified and practicing Yoga Instructor. Having studied Mindfulness for almost 20 years, she naturally integrated Mindfulness, Education, and Yoga into a beautiful system for her students.
Utilizing Mindfulness had fast results in the classroom. Jennifer began to focus on the great need for Mindfulness to calm the anxiety of ELLs, to increase language acquisition, and to build confidence.
Classes and workshops also focus on utilizing writing for deep expression, achievement of goals, love of culture, and self-knowledge.
